Monday Morning PR Minute ⏱️Your weekly dose of PR inspiration | Read time: 1 minute | Hi Reader, I just finished season three of Shrinking and I'm so sad. The kind of sad of leaving people you loved spending time with. I was completely invested in the characters and loved the premise of the show: life is better when you have people in your corner. People who know you, who actually get it, who show up for you, and who make you better. This Week’s Quick PR Tip: Find Someone Who Gets ItOne of my clients leads marketing and comms at a local nonprofit. She carries a lot on her own - social media, content creation, media outreach, and ad-hoc requests. She's smart, incredibly capable, and doing great work. But she's a comms team of one. What I notice on our calls is how quickly the conversation shifts once she realizes she doesn't have to figure it out by herself. She's not second-guessing as much and she's able to get stuff done faster. She has someone who knows her work, knows her organization, and can help her quiet the noise and think. You may not have the budget to outsource some of the work, but having someone in your corner - someone who actually gets it - eases the overwhelm and changes the quality of your thinking. You don't do your best work alone. Nobody does. If you're carrying your org's comms on your own and want someone to help make sense of it, I'd love to be that person.
