Monday Morning PR Minute ⏱️Your weekly dose of PR inspiration | Read time: 1 minute | Hi Reader, I recently co-wrote an article with my digital marketing friends at Avenue Agency about PR story mining and why it matters so much right now as everyone is talking about AI search and visibility. Most organizations think their mission is their story - it isn't. The fact that your organization helps teen moms graduate from high school isn't a story. The story is that 15 teen moms who were at risk of dropping out earned their degrees because they had access to childcare within walking distance of school - close enough to nurse their babies between classes. The stories are in the details, and the details are what AI search tools are looking for when they decide whose content to surface. This Week’s Quick PR Tip: Find The Specific Stories That Prove Your ImpactAI tools don't surface organizations because they exist. They surface the ones whose content is specific, credible, and backed by real, verifiable evidence. Vague mission language gives them nothing, while a concrete story with names, numbers, and outcomes gives them exactly what they need. This week, pick one program, client, or win and dig past the summary. Ask who, how many, what changed, and why. Keep going until you hit the detail that surprises you - that's usually the one worth telling. Those details are your proof. They build credibility with a reporter, funder, customer, and now the AI tools standing between your brand and the people looking for it.
